Dr. Sinclair Shuit graduated from the University of Waterloo school of Optometry in 1996. He completed an external placement in Florida with the Florida Eye Care and Cataract Center under Dr. Stuart Kaufman. He has served as a clinical supervisor with the University of Waterloo school of Optometry. He has also worked as an independent consultant within the Laser vision correction industry.

He enjoys travelling with his wife Kim (who is also an optometrist) and his two children. Other interests include trivia, computers, music and running.
